9-Days into the wild - A jungle book experience

Dehli - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh - Kanha - Pench - Nagpur - Mumbai

Day 01 Hong Kong/ Delhi 新德里

Depart Hong Kong for Delhi.Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Following customs & immigration formalities and baggage collection, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel stay.

India's capital and major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its fold the ancient and the modern. One of the most historic capitals in the world, Delhi is a treasure trove that reveals the ultimate combination of tradition and trends. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many emperors, which have left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles.

Day 02 Delhi 新德里 - by air - Khajuraho 克久拉霍

After breakfast, you will be met at your hotel and assisted with transfer to the airport to board flight for Khajuraho.
Upon arrival in Khajuraho, you will be met at airport and assisted with transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Situated in the heart of India in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Khajurado lies in the forested plains of the region of Bundelk-hand and world renowned for its temple architecture and exquisite sculptures. Built under later Chandela kings between 950 and 1050 AD in a truly inspired burst of creativity, the temples are superb examples of Indo-Aryan architecture. The engravings on these temples are highly sensual and erotic that depicts in graceful forms intimate scenes of the whole range of human emotions and relationships.

In the afternoon, visit the Temples, which are entirely HIndu, and constitute some of the finest examples of Chandela art at its peak. The largest being the Kandhariya Mahadev dedicated to Lord Shiva, followed by a granite temple - Chaunsath Yogini. Other temples in the Western Group include the Varaha Temple with a nine-foot high boar-incarnation of Lord Vishnu and the Brahma Temple.

Day 03 Khajuraho 克久拉霍 - Bandhavagarh National Park

Enjoy breakfast at hotel.

This morning you will drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (250 kilometres/approx. 06 hours).

Upon arrival, proceed for chekc-in at your hotel.

A wildlife retreat where history and nature meet, Bandhavgarh is a small national park with the highest known density of tiger population in India. Dominated by a large fort, said to have been built by Lord Rama, the hero of the Indian epic Ramayana, this park was the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Remwa.

Lunch at the hotel.

Afternoon proceed for game drive inter Bandhavgarh National Park (open non air-conditioned jeeps on sharing basis). Enjoy a rendezvous with the denizens of the Jungle and if lucky, view the most sought after beast of the wild-the-tiger.

Dinner at hotel.

Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

Day 04 Bandhavgarh National Park

Early morning game drive into Bandhavgarh National Park (open non air-conditioned jeeps on sharing basis).

Return to your hotel for breakfast and lunch.

Afternoon proceed for game derive into Bandhavgarh National Park (open non air-conditioned jeeps on sharing basis).

Dinner at hotel.

Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

Day 05 Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha National Park

Early morning game drive into Bandhavgarh National Park (open non air-conditioned jeeps on sharing basis).

Return to your hotel for breakfast.

Proceed for your drive to Kanha National Park (255 kilometres/approx. 06 hours) with pached lunch.

Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel.

Situated in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the picturesque Kanha National Park was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's unforgettable classic Jungle Book. No other wildlife reserve in India offers the density of fauna found at Kanha, but for all the astonishing diversity in its wildlife population, Kanha is best known as the habitat of the tiger.

Rest of the evneing is at leisure for independent activities.

Day 06 Kanha National Park

Early morning and afternoon enjoy games drive at Kanha National Park. (Open non air-conditioned jeeps on sharing basis).

Spotting wild animals is always a matter of luck but Kanha is so rich in wildlife that the odds are titled in your favour. First time visitors are often so keen to spot the larger animals that they overlook the small ones. There are 175 varieties of birds in Kanha. So if you happen to be bird watcher, look forward to a full bird show. Most people are keener to meet Kanha's major attraction, the Tiger; still one has to be patient to spot one.

The park is the only habitat of the rare hand ground Barasingha. One of the finest and the best administered National Parks in Asia, an irresistable attraction for all wildlife lovers and a true haven for its animal and avian population.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel.

Overnight in Kanha.

Day 07 Kanha National Park - Pench National Park

Breakfast at the hotel.

This morning you will be driven to Pench National Park (180 kilometers/approx 04 hours) with packed lunch.

Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel.

Pench National Park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the Satpuda hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. Pench National Park, comprising of 758 sq. kilometers, out of which a core area of 299 sq km is the national park and remaining 464 sq km is the buffer area.

Afternoon game drive in the national park. (open non air-conditioned jeeps on sharing basis).

Over 1,200 species of plants have been recorded from the area including several rare and endangered plants as well as plants of ethno-botanical importance. The area has always been rich in wildlife.

Dinner at hotel.

Overnight in Pench.

Day 08 Pench National Park - Nagpur - by air - Mumbai

Early morning, enjoy game drive at the park.

Return back to the hotel for breakfast.

Enjoy time at leisure till lunch.

Later, you will be driven to Nagpur (approx. 95 kilometers/02 hours) and transferred to the airport to board your flight to Mumbai.

Depart Nagpur by flight for Mumbai.

Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be met and assisted with transfer to international airport for your onward flight connection.

Day 09 Mumbai/Hong Kong 孟買

Early morning arrival at Hong Kong.
